Directly after installing Pro Flight Simulator, I became I lover of this flight simulator and instantly decided to set up a blog and write this review. My First Experience with Pro Flight Simulator

I have been playing Pro Flight Simulator for about five months now and it’s exactly what it promises and what every person who dreams about being a pilot wants – a highly realistic flying experience. The attention, dedication and hard work put into the making of this simulator is clearly evident from the excellent graphics, landscapes, etc. It is one of the most realistic games I have ever played. In short, the purchase was completely worth it. I my purchase I was able to downloaded a copy of the game right away and as soon as I started playing the game, I was spellbound and ended up to spent more than a 6 straight hours of flying fun. It was extremely simple to get lost in this virtual world and it was an astonishingly authentic flying experience.

The first and most striking feature of the game is how realistically the game has been programmed. Nowadays we having many aspiring pilots who need to harness their skills. For various reasons they are not able to do so, money being one of the prime reasons amongst other unavailable resources. Needless to say, I am one of them. So for people like me, it is highly essential that if I’m using a game to improve my flying skills, it has to be as realistic as possible. This is exactly what Pro Flight Simulator has to offer me. When I played the game for the first time, it was like flying for real. Really amazing! At first, I was overwhelmed with all the features this game has to offer, but later got used to it. Spoiled? ;-) It has been designed with the real aerial universe in mind. This is why PFS gives me such a realistic experience of flying whenever I play this game. The alignment of the planets, the landscaping of mountains, river, lakes, the weather conditions, aircraft reactions and physics, all has been so perfectly designed.

Pro flight Simulator comes with Superb Features

Another striking feature of Pro Flight Simulator is how the game offers you an extensive section of maps and aircrafts. I was chiefly overwhelmed with professional, effusively detailed, real life flight simulations which exhibits over 20,000 of the airports around the world and widespread scenery packs as well as 120 different planes from Concords, F16s, Migs, airliners etc. The world mapping has been done to perfection and is highly accurate. Another unique feature is that it goes to the extent of including real time weather reports and accurate mapping of the solar system. So, for example, if there is a storm in, say the France, and if you happen to fly through France in your game, you would also experience this real life storm. I think that this feature is absolutely amazing and surely is one of the top selling points of this sim. Why? Specifically because it gives me an opportunity to test my flying skills in all weather conditions which is not possible otherwise. Not only that, it also gives me an opportunity to harness my flying skills in bad weather conditions, which is very important for aspiring pilots like me. Keep on dreaming, right?

When I say Pro Flight Simulator is one of the most realistic games, I am really not talking BS. Imagine this. After I had spent one too many hours on the game, I suddenly saw that the blue sky on my screen was turning dark. On further speculation and a few phone calls, I came to know that the software also keeps a trace of time. As in, as it starts getting night/dark in real life, the day turns to night in the game as well. Now which other flight simulator can boast of such an amazing and unique feature? It are feature like these, that keep on amazing me and makes me decide to come back for more.

Exciting “Bonuses” Included

What’s also amazing are the three bonuses, or extra’s you receive while purchasing Pro Flight Simulator software. Firstly, I received a copy of their flight combat add-on. This game mode is 100% fun and very exciting at the same time. Since I really enjoy high-adrenaline air combats, I loved this added bonus. This mode provided a realistic (I think…) combat flight simulator that strongly focuses on intense air battles, combat management, and flight dynamics. I also received an interactive scenery designer which allowed me to create my own buildings, runways, landscapes, etc. Not only that I could create an entire (!) continent on my own.

The third bonus really is a must-have for every high-end flight sim seeker: A Kelpie Flight Planner. This allows me to plan my flights to any location in the world. What’s even more fascinating is the fact that it again uses real time data with actual places and airports.

My Conclusion

As I mentioned before, the graphics are superb. When I first played the game, I was simply amazed by how realistic and intense the animations looked; it really got to me. If there is any ‘weak point’ to this, it would be that city duplications aren’t quite as thorough as in real life – which I’ve compared to ‘my’ Boston – but all the major stuff is there like the most remarkable buildings, the roads, car headlights visible from the sky and what have you. The game also offers a series of great multiplayer modes that also support online features, some of which really stand out. Also, I was able to use my keyboard to play the game while I made arrangements for an actual flight control center.

And if all these great features are not enough, Pro Flight Simulator offers you a 60-days guaranteed refund if you are not completely satisfied with the game, which I’m sure won’t happen. Beat that Microsoft Simulator X! Another great thing about would be that it comes with a free life time upgrades and since the game is continuously updated with new aircraft’s, scenery and flight paths, this really is a superb advantage.

My Experiences with Pro Flight Simulator

As I downloaded the game directly after paying for it online, I was a bit skeptical. Every website that has something to sell, boasts of many good features but upon using the actual product, you learn a ‘different’ story most times. However, to my astonishment and relief, Pro Flight Simulator is exactly what it said, if not a lot more! For every aspiring pilot really is a dream come true. It is by far the most important factor that flight simulators are highly realistic, especially if it is targeting customers who are aspiring pilots and want to improve their flying skills. This handsome piece of software offers just that.

Pro Flight Simulator is superbly realistic. A lot of effort has gone into planning every tiny detail of the game. It really is like flying a plane for real. I must say, this is probably the best simulator available in the market today. It gives me a very realistic feel of flying. Not only that, everything from aircraft physics, to terrain, to planetary arrangement and movement have been designed with great care. The attention to detail in this game is highly commendable. I love it!

The world mapping in this Flight Simulator is very accurately done. PFS really goes that extra mile by including real time weather reports and accurate mapping of the solar system. So, for example, if there is a storm in, say the USA, for real, the game would also show it storming in USA. Now isn’t that cool? According to me this has two benefits. Firstly, it gives me an even more realistic feel of flying and secondly, it enhances my skills of flying in all weather conditions. Also it contains online components. It has fabulous MultiPlayer options. Formation flying and an extensive chat option were two of the better online components.

The fact that Pro Flight Simulator is a lot more superior, offers even more features, and is more realistic looking proves that it actually leaves behind other similar Flight Simulators. PFS is the majority realistic airline ticket Simulator ever that’s actually original. Many serious pilots opt for Pro Flight Simulator as it is more realistic and offer better features. This Simulator can be used as a game or could be used a training element for people who want to become pilots. It is also very useful for people who enjoy flying but don’t have enough money to do so frequently. It presents unbelievable features that helped me choose know the aircraft I wanted to fly, the climatic conditions, the particular period, and other minute details. Conveniently, I was able to use the keyboard on my computer to play the game, while I purchased a joystick. So incase the joystick is not available; one could always use a keyboard.

Variety of Game Modes

What’s even more appealing is that when I ordered Pro Flight Simulator, along with the game I received three useful bonuses that came free with the software. One of them was an interactive scenery designer which allowed me to create my own buildings, runways, landscapes, etc. Not only that I could create an entire continent on my own.

The second is a must have for all PFS users: an actual Kelpie Flight Planner. This allows me to plan my fights to any place in the world. What’s even more fascinating is the fact that is uses real time data with actual places and airports. The third was a free combat Flight Simulator game mode. Since I really enjoy high-adrenaline air combats, I loved this additional bonus. The game is a combat Flight Simulator that focuses strongly on intense air battles, combat management, artificial intellect, and Flight dynamics.

My Conclusion

I have been using PFS for a while now. Even though the download did take a while, it carries on being a valuable purchase and takes up most of my gaming time. One of the great things about PFS is that it comes with a free life time upgrade so it is continuously updated with new aircraft’s, scenery and flight paths.

A safe thought for me was what I call the “Cooling off Period”. This allowed me to get a full refund within sixty days in case I would not be 100% satisfied with the game. If you have been reading my reviews, you would notice that I have not even thought about getting this refund!
